THE RETIRED LADY:

This homeshare is under offer. The Householder loves the arts and frequents the opera, concert and theatre regularly. She leads an active social life and often has dinner with friends either at home or at a restaurant. The retired lady remains active, she attends gym classes a few times a week and she also is a car driver. The older lady has a great network of friends and is well supported by her family. There is a cleaner and a personal assistant or secretary who visit during the week. The older lady is in her mid 80s and has macular degeneration, an eye condition, which makes it difficult to read. She also has arthritis in her hands.

GREAT LOCATION:

This homeshare is in the heart of Primrose Hill, a 5 minute walk from Chalk Farm tube station, on the Northern Line. The homeshare is also a 10minute walk from Swiss Cottage station and Kentish Town West overground station. There are also nearby buses that go to the West End.

THE HOME:

The home is a 3 bedroom house with a garden. The companion would have their own floor at the top of the house consisting of 2 rooms and a landing. The bedroom available is a medium size double room with a double bed, wardrobe and open drawers. There is a desk and TV on the landing. The other room has a bed and armchair and can be made up as a ‘working from home’ office space or separate living room. There is a separate bathroom, with a shower. Storage for a bicycle can be arranged. There are no pets in the home.

THE IDEAL COMPANION:

The retired lady is looking for friendly company, someone with a sense of humor, an appreciation of the arts as well as sharing an occasional meal. It would be most helpful to have help with grocery shopping and basic technology. The Householder would prefer someone who works away from the home. This opportunity is not appropriate for women or those with pets.

ALL BILLS INCLUDED:

£ 250 per month (all rent, bills and Share My Home subscription are included in this amount). There are no other costs.
