YOUR NEW HOME:

This homeshare is no longer available. A furnished double room with an ensuite shower room and includes a private study space. Shared living with a retired couple for an affordable £200 per month.

HOMESHARE LOCATION:

The home is situated southwest of Sheffield, in Ecclesall. There is a regular bus service to Sheffield city centre, the buses are a 5 minute walk from the house. The bus takes 20 minutes into the city, and the buses are number 218 / 272 and 81/ 82 which go to Sheffield train station. The Peak District is close by, with beautiful Wyming Brook a 15 minutes drive away.

THE IDEAL COMPANION:

The retired lady in her 60s is looking for a woman companion that can provide 10-15 hours a week with company and practical support. This support includes spending time with her and enjoying activities together, whether this is making a meal together or spending time in the garden. 1-2 afternoons a week of company is essential so that the husband can have some time on his own – this is during the working week. We are looking for a companion that can spend at least 3 evenings a week of company with the Householder. This homeshare support is in addition to company from her supportive network of friends, family and helpers. This homeshare opportunity will suit a mature student or working professional, a lady either working from home or working part-time from home.

The couple is happy for the companion to bring their friendly dog or cat.

ALL BILLS INCLUDED:

£ 200 per month (all bills and Share My Home subscription are included in this amount). There are no other costs.
