A furnished double room with an ensuite bathroom and includes a private study room. Shared living with a semi-retired elderly man for an affordable £150 per month.
HOMESHARE LOCATION:
This is an idyllic location in Ripe, near Lewes. Due to the rural location, a car driver is needed as the bus service is not regular. You are able to use the landlord’s car if you have a driver’s license. Berwick station is 5 miles away. Lewes train station is a 17minute drive away. Brighton rail station is half an hour's drive away. The location is kept confidential – please see the map for the approximate location
THE HOME:

THE IDEAL COMPANION:
The semi-retired gentleman is very independent and in good health. He has a broad range of interests in business and current affairs. He is looking for a companion who will be happy to provide 10-15 hours of company and practical support per week in exchange of affordable accommodation (supported by Share my Home). The ideal lodger will be a woman over the age of 25 years, who is happy to cook a few evenings per week and is keen to do some practical errands as well as some basic computer work. The Householder’s family usually stays on Saturday nights, and so the Companion could therefore have weekends off if they would like, but the person would be welcome to stay at home as well. There is already a cleaner, so no cleaning is needed, apart from cleaning your own room and bathroom. This unique home will suit a mature student or working professional, either working from home or working outside of the home. This homeshare does come with use of a small car should the companion drive. The older man does not have any pets and prefers not to have anyone with a pet.
ALL BILLS INCLUDED:
£150 per month (all bills and Share My Home subscription are included in this amount). There are no other costs.
