The Householder: The older person is a retired professional who used to play a lot of sport. She also used to enjoy horse riding and is looking forward to meeting someone that enjoys the outdoors and nature. The older lady is looking for someone to help with cooking an evening meal a few nights a week and putting the chickens to bed in the evening. Yes …there are seven very happy bantam chickens.

The ideal companion: The ideal companion would be over 30, be content living in a village and be keen to make a difference to an older person’s life, through practical support and some company. This could also be ideal for a couple. The previous companion worked as a designer from home, and the other companion worked as a teacher in a local school.

The Home share location: The home is in Willand village near Cullompton, Mid Devon. It is 2 miles away from Tiverton Parkway station, with trains travelling into Paddington, taking approximately 2 hours. There is also a bus service to Exeter / Taunton.
