YOUR NEW HOME:

This homeshare is no longer available. This homeshare is available at the end of August 2023. This homeshare is shared with an older person in leafy Ealing, West London. The retired elderly man is looking for a friendly companion to share his lovely home.

THE HOMESHARE IN EALING:

West Ealing and Ealing Broadway stations are a 12-15 mins walk away to the underground and Elizabeth Line. The nearest bus stop is a 5 minute walk (buses E10 / 297). We are unable to share the exact location.

THE OLDER PERSON:

The retired man has a wealth of interests in art, architecture, travel, geography, history and current affairs (especially watching university challenge!). He worked as an accountant and also a lecturer in business studies.

THE HOME

• A beautiful 4 bedroom period house

• The room available – double room with a double bed, built-in wardrobe, desk, chair, three chests of drawers, drawers under the bed, and bookshelves. The room is south facing and overlooks a sunny garden.

• Shared bathroom with a shower.

• WIFI included

• Street parking (will need to apply for a parking permit)

• Cleaner once a month

• Bicycle storage

• No Pets

THE IDEAL COMPANION:

The retired man is looking for a friendly companion, who is mature, over 30 years, that can assist 15 hours a week with practical household jobs. The companion would enjoy watching TV some evenings, as well as managing the recycling, and hanging up the laundry and ad hoc tasks at home. This homeshare will suit someone working from home or someone working at least 3 days a week from home. As the older man is over 80, the lodger will need to be up to date with their COVID vaccinations.

ALL BILLS INCLUDED:

£ 200 per month (all bills and Share My Home subscription are included in this amount). There are no other costs. Please note this is an ongoing subscription that ends when the Companion moves out.
